Hello! My name is Ola Taha, and I am a doctoral student in Public Health. I hold a Master’s degree in Microbiology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I have had the privilege of teaching for many years, including three years as a high school and middle school teacher, two years as a university biology instructor, and three years as a substitute teacher in public schools.
I am passionate about making science engaging, meaningful, and accessible for every student. I believe that learning is fueled by curiosity, and I love helping students make real-world connections while building confidence in their scientific thinking.
As your science teacher, I promise to create a safe, welcoming, and caring classroom where everyone feels valued and respected. I will lead with kindness, patience, and integrity, encouraging you to ask questions, explore new ideas, and learn from mistakes. I will use my experience to support your growth, teach science through hands-on learning and real-life experiences, and help you develop strong science skills. Most importantly, I will encourage you to be honest, responsible, and confident as we discover the exciting world of science together.
