Fifth Grade Homeroom Teacher

Biography

My name is Neelam Talib, and I am an ELA teacher dedicated to helping students develop strong literacy skills, confidence in communication, and a lifelong love for learning. I hold a double master’s degree—a Master of Arts in English from Pakistan and a Master of Arts in Transformative Education from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. I also earned a bachelor’s degree in education and computer science, providing me with a strong foundation in instructional practices, technology integration, and modern teaching methodologies.

With extensive experience working with children across diverse grade levels and backgrounds, I have developed a deep understanding of student needs, learning styles, and the importance of building meaningful relationships. I am committed to creating a supportive, culturally responsive classroom where every child feels valued, respected, and motivated to succeed.

My purpose as an educator is to design engaging, student-centered lessons that spark curiosity, promote critical thinking, and empower students academically and personally. I am passionate about guiding young learners to discover their strengths, express themselves confidently, and grow into thoughtful, capable individuals prepared for future success.
