Biography

Hinna Ahmad-Manzoor brings 13 years of instructional experience in upper elementary and middle school education. Her lifelong commitment as an ICGC community member has allowed her to wear many hats throughout the decades in Cincinnati. She holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with the teaching and learning of school subjects. Hinna’s passion for INTAC, comes from her desire to pair her professional expertise with her second generation immigrant experiences, advocating for a stronger American Muslim Identity in education and civic engagement. Her commitment to educational excellence extends beyond teaching. She has mentored undergraduate teachers from The University of Cincinnati, coached boys’ soccer at Cincinnati Public Schools, continues advocacy as a building-wide DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) initiative lead, and develops social and emotional curricula that fits for all students at Mason Schools.

Her journey into education began with a pivotal role in standardized assessment and instructional testing at The Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Behavioral Psychology Department. Here, Hinna discovered the value of quality data paired with incredible educators can have a ripple effect on diverse communities. Deeply rooted in the ICGC community, Hinna has witnessed the inception and growth of INTAC. Her multifaceted engagement with INTAC as a former employee, community member, and now the lens of a pre-K parent, gives her a wide scope to gather information and provide input. Her diverse roles have included being a classroom teacher, curriculum specialist, and tier two support instructor. She is a lifelong learner who currently is expanding her scope of knowledge in instructional education with an administrative license.
