My family and I moved to Cincinnati in 2023, seeking a full-time Islamic school environment for our children. I firmly believe that Islamic education plays a vital role in preserving the faith, identity, and future of our children—and, by extension, the Muslim community in the United States.
I view the growth and sustainability of Islamic schools as a high priority. Ensuring adequate funding is essential for these institutions to continue providing high-quality education. I also believe it is our collective responsibility as a Muslim community to secure our fair share of the tax dollars we contribute by fully participating in programs such as EdChoice as well as the no-cost Ohio state and federal tax credit initiatives that support our Islamic schools.
