Position Description:
The KG teacher is responsible for creating a safe, healthy learning environment that will support the social and emotional development of young children. The teacher will plan and implement learning experiences that advance the intellectual and physical development of children. This includes, but is not limited to, teaching basic skills in the natural and social sciences, literature, reading, and behavioral skills to preschool-aged children. The KG teacher will encourage family involvement in the Academy and support the development of relationships between children and their families.
